RACERS & FANS:

Thanks to everyone that turned out for the race.

Congratulations to all the class winners at Wendover: Jason Horsley in the Unlimited class, Dave Sams who ran in the Class 10, Monte Tibbits in Heavy Metal, Dallas Luttrell in Mini Metal and David Edwards in Sportsman.  Everyone adapted to the last minute change in the course due to weather.

A special thanks to all of our volunteers (Glenn Cain, Mike Chamberlain, Brian Dick, Dave Palmer, Mike Sullivan and Les Wolfe) for this race due the absence of a few of the owners for their personal situations.  Also, a special thanks to Christine Sams for her great help with the registrations, shirts and whatever else she was asked to do, and to Jenny Cain and Judy Palmer for timing the race.  A lot more responsibility was placed on our volunteers this race and they stepped up as we knew they would.  The race went on without a hitch.  We appreciate them!  Thanks to our sponsors at the Rainbow and Montego Bay hotels for their support and special room rates.  We hope you enjoyed their accommodations and service.

We would like to announce that BORE is for sale.  All interested parties should call to discuss a possible buy out or to discuss other options for keeping BORE going.  We had an interested party contact us at the end of last week.  We will keep you posted.

Although we did have a good turn out for the Wendover race, we did not have the 20 entries that we needed to cover the cost of the Wendover race and have some funds available to prepare for the Jackpot race.  It is with regret that we are announcing that the Jackpot race is cancelled due to low vehicle count and lack of funds.  If BORE is sold, the new owner could reschedule Jackpot, possibly later in July, to allow for the permit process.  Without a new owner, BORE is on hold until further notice.

Although this outcome for BORE was not what we expected or worked so hard for, we as owners have had a great ride, and we hope all of you did too!
